I assume you can read the label yourself. Nowhere does it state that the item is not machine washable; it only says “spot clean.” Therefore, I reject your suggestion that I have been dishonest in this matter.
I am extremely disappointed by both your response and the manner in which I have been treated. I consider your conduct to be unprofessional, and I intend to refer this matter to the Ombudsman for further review.
The product description clearly states that the cover is removable and machine washable at 30°C. Customer service then told me the cover is not machine washable, which directly contradicts the information on the website.
When I queried this and requested escalation, I found customer service unhelpful and received no evidence to support their position. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company.
Hi Sinead, thanks for taking the time to leave your review, however what you have said is not actually true, hence our response. You purchased the Elephant Junior in our Classic Nylon material, and when you asked if this is supposed to have a machine washable cover, we informed you that as per the 'Cleaning and Maintenance' section on the product page - the Classic Nylon material is not removable, but is spot clean and wipeable with a damp cloth - we even took a screenshot and circled the area where is says that, we also suggested that if you wanted the Junior with a removable and machine washable cover, the Fabric option would have been best for you. When you requested to speak with a manager, you were advised that you were already speaking with Mark, the owner. We have received no further response from you since, so we were unable to help you any further. Like most small family run business, almost all the emails are answered by us, the owners!
I bought the small brown Bean Bag as a footstool and it didn’t disappoint. The fabric is gorgeous, and the height is perfect. Getting it in the sale was an absolute winner. Thanks to all for prompt delivery with excellent communication all the way through. 10/10 to the team at Elephant 😊 🫶🏼

Bought as Communion gift for my Beautiful Neice who is autistic. I previously bought one for my son who has ADHD and he is very sensory so just loved the material and how it enveloped him. My niece loves it and it is a lovely calming hug to help her self regulate.
